Caitlin Stier, video intern

This water-propelled pack makes it to number three in our best videos of the year.

Ever dreamed of flying with a jetpack? Now you can strap on a device powered by water to blast up to 10 metres in the air. Developed by Raymond Li, the invention can propel the wearer at speeds of up to 35 kilometres per hour. Beyond recreation, Li hopes the device will be useful for search and rescue missions, marine inspections and firefighting.

To find out more about the jetpack, read the full blog post, Jetpack takes you on a magic carpet ride.
