Getloaded, a market leader in providing instant access to transportation capacity and freight in a cutting edge computer platform, is seeking a full-time Sales Manager to join their Management team in Midlothian, VA. We are seeking an individual with proven sales management experience to lead our inside sales team. Internet software sales and Transportation Industry experience a plus.

Job Summary: Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts, devising sales plans, managing, coaching and developing staff, and monitoring sales and administrative expenses. The Sales Manager will contribute to the development of company objectives and will determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages sales team of 4-5: hires, conducts employee performance evaluations, identifies individual training and development needs

?Develops work schedules, assigns duties, and examines work for accuracy, professionalism and conformance to policies and procedures

?Establishes sales quotas/goals and ensures that they are met/exceeded

?Recommends and implements plans for sales promotions, incentive plans, price changes, and other sales strategy adjustments

?Prospects, qualifies, and secures clients for Getloaded products and/or services

?Performs on-site sales presentations to targeted prospects

?Public speaking engagements to prospective customers

?Performs software demonstrations via the Web and in person

?Consults with upper management on business and market strategy

?Performs proactive competitive analysis for leads and new product/service ideas

?Performs market, industry, and product research

?Implements and ensures effective execution of sales programs

?Develops and monitors reports to measure effectiveness of sales process and devises plans to overcome any sales lags

?Prepares, manages, and is held accountable for the departmental budget and sales plans

?Attends industry trade shows and conferences as needed.

?Resolves customer complaints and problems to ensure client retention

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

?Innovative and dynamic leader with strong motivation and sales skills

?Minimum 3 years of successful sales team management experience in high-tech and/or ecommerce environment

?Proven track record in business-to-business sales

?Bachelor?s Degree in business, management or transportation related area; or Bachelor?s Degree plus additional sales/business experience.

?Knowledge of the Transportation industry desired

?Experience in subscription based service desired
