Wall sits are great for building up your quad muscles and improving leg strength. To begin, find a clear wall space wide enough to fit your body. Keep yourself around 18 inches away from the wall. You need to lean back and bend your knees against the wall. Continue to slide down the wall, bending your knees to the point where your thighs are perpendicular to your legs. Hold this position for as long as you possibly can.

Any fitness routine should include regular stretching. Muscles should be stretched properly prior to and immediately after every workout.
